“La Muerte andante” es el nombre que las tribus Antípodas dieron a los Spetsnaz tras sus enfrentamientos durante la Primera Ofensiva. Expertos en paracaidismo, lucha cuerpo a cuerpo, técnicas de guerrilla, emboscada y asalto, los Spetsnaz ariadnos son herederos de la larga tradición de guerra sucia de las fuerzas especiales rusas, pero tamizada por el filtro brutal de la disciplina cosaca y el nivel de exigencia de un planeta hostil como Amanecer.

Ariadna: Uxia McNeill

Uxía McNeill es una fiera de metro setenta. Brusca, arisca, violenta y deslenguada, es una auténtica tía chunga. Fue lugarteniente de una banda callejera, miembro de una red Irmandinha de contrabandistas, y ha sobrevivido a cuatro años de enrolamiento en el ejército ariadno.

Uxia McNeill is a five foot 6 inch wild beast. Rude, temperamental, violent and foul-mouthed, she's an aunthentic bad apple. She was lieutenant of a street gang, a member of an Irmandinha contraband ring and has survived four years in the Ariadna army. 

Scale 75: 101 Airborne

Esta semana el paracaidista americano de la marca Scale75. Una figura muy entretenida de pintar aunque con un par de fallos históricos en el esculpido y una fundición del metal que deja bastante que desear por las imperfecciones. No obstante, me valió para obtener la medalla de oro en el XVIII Encuentro de Modelismo de Almería celebrado este año.

Haqquislam: Saladino

Saladino fue un guerrero y líder militar musulmán y el más famoso de los héroes islámicos. Gracias a su excelente capacidad de control de la batalla, Saladino es el cerebro, la referencia en cualquier centro de mando. Siempre sabe cuáles son las mejores decisiones, tanto en la maniobra como al marcar el ritmo del combate. No obstante, el Anciano de la Montaña no termina de confiar plenamente en esta recreación de Aleph y ha ordenado que haya constantemente un operativo Hassassin próximo a el, monitorizando todos sus movimientos, actos y decisiones, y siempre dispuesto a eliminarlo a la menor sospecha de traición a Haqqislam o a sus creencias.

Saladino was a warrior and a Muslim military leader of Kurdish origin, as well as the most famous of all Islamic heroes. The Recreation Project “Lion of the Desert” would be ALEPH’s wedge of insertion into Haqqislamite society. Saladin is the brain and central reference of any command center, due to his excellent control of the flow of battle. He always knows how to make the best decisions, both in tactical maneuvers as well as in setting the rhythm of a combat. However,  the Old Man of the Mountain don't trust fully in Saladino and for this reason has ordered a Hassassin operative group to be always next to him. This team monitors all his movements, actions and decisions, ever willing to eliminate him at the slightest suspicion of treason towards Haqqislam or its beliefs.

Haqquislam: Azrail

Los Azrail son un grupo de tropas de élite veteranas que han formado parte de la guardia personal del Sultán (Jamdariyah). Cada vez que uno nuevo es elegido por el pueblo, parte de la antigua guardia es disuelta y organizada en la unida Azrail que se encarga de proteger la ruta de la Seda.

ENGLISH VERSION

The Azra'il are veteran elite troops who have fallen into disgrace. The Jamdariyah, the Sultan's personal guard is renewed with each Sultan. Every time a new one is elected by the people, his head of security disbands the previous Jamdariyah. Some of the members stay on with the new Sultan, but those who are politically suspect cannot keep their old rank. This is why they are sent to the Azra'il Special Deterrent Group, where their talents can be used but where they can also be closely monitored.
